The Open University of Hong Kong
Established by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, OUHK is an innovative teaching
university dedicated to providing quality and flexible university programs including
undergraduate, master and doctoral programs.
 
• We offer 2-years full-time programmes
• A Bachelor’s Degree, which is awarded by OUHK and recognized by the mainland China authorities, could be obtained in 3 years.
• The course will include practical training for trainees to gain a better understanding of the operation of the relevant trades and
 for enhancing their chances of future employment
• All programmes are under supervision of The Open University of Hong Kong (OUHK) to ensure academic quality
• We offer variety of programmes
• Programmes are taught in English to enhance English standard and competitiveness

For those interested to join Cape Breton University, this program require students to complete 2.5 years of studies in GIEC, plus an additional 2 years in Cape Breton University; students will receive the Bachelor degree in Hospitality&Tourism Management upon course completion.

(for other non Hospitality&Tourism Management Majors)
 
For those interested to join Cape Breton University that is non Hospitality&Tourism Management Major, the program will require students to complete 2.5 years of studies in GIEC, plus an additional 2.5 years in Cape Breton University; students will receive the Bachelor degree on their relevant area upon course completion.

Current GIEC student majoring in Hotel Management can join our collaboration program with Merci College
 
Collaboration Program for (GIEC <-> Merci College)
For those interested to join Merci College, this program requires students to complete 2 years of studies in GIEC, plus an additional one and a half year in Merci College, student will receive the Diploma of Hotel Management and will be guaranteed workplace in Canada upon course completion.
