Faculty of Foreign Language & International Education
The Faculty of Foreign Language & International Education offers programs in Foreign Language and Literature, as well as overseas undergraudate and postgradudate program with partner universities across the globe, has been acredited by the Ministry of Education for its distinctive majors in English, Japanese, Korean, Spanish and French, while our English and Korean Language and Literature programs we acknowledged as key disciplines by the Guangzhou Education Commission. In addition, the faculty offers new programs - multilingual translation (including English and French) and multi-language programs.
The faculty has a coaching team consist of highly qualified teachers with strong research capabilities, and has won recognition for its graduates who have taken important positions in the fields of hotel management, foreign affairs, media, finance, translation, and interpretation for their excellent performance.

Business English
Training objectives and employment direction:
Training student with ability to understand good business knowledge and skills to use English in business, trade, exhibition, education, tourism, joint ventures, cross-border foreign business enterprises and other units of high-end composite business English talents and skills.

Further studies for Business English and Applied English graduates
After finishing two and a half years of professional courses in Business English majors or Applied English majors :
students can choose to study abroad in the US, Canada Britain, and Australia.
In addition, every year, students will be sent to universities in the US, Singapore and Malaysia for short-term training, paid internships and sightseeing. In the pure English environment, students will greatly enhance their sense of English and feel the local politics, economy, culture and customs.
Applied Korean
Goal of training and employment direction:
To cultivate Korean language in middle and senior level, for Korean enterprises and institutions, foreign investment or foreign trade companies as well as foreign language training institutions engaged in cultural exchanges and business activities such as the work of the high-end complex, skilled and applied talents in korean.

Further Studies:
Students can choose to study in our school for two and a half years, then go to the Ministry of education of South Korea to evaluate excellent universities -- Hoseo University and Pusan University of Foreign Studies, with direct entry to the undergraduate grade three.
The University of Korea remissions 50% of the tuition and scholarships for every student in the university.
Each year, students are organized to go to Korean Universities for short-term study and sightseeing, and the political, economic, cultural and customs of South Korea are felt in the field.
Students with excellent academic achievements can apply and study in Korean universities as a exchange student.
Applied French
Goal of training and employment direction: Training with French language proficiency and French business ability, familiar with French national conditions and cultural competence, foreign enterprises and institutions, foreign companies, foreign trade companies and foreign language training institutions engaged in cultural exchanges and business activities such as the work of the high-end complex, skilled and applied talents in french.

Students of this major can go to France to attend the undergraduate course. Students can choose to go to the French Ministry of education after two and a half years to attend the French Ministry of education to evaluate the grade three of the undergraduate course directly.
In addition, the annual summer vacation will organize the students to go to the French universities for short-term study and sightseeing, and feel the political, economic, cultural and customs of France on the spot.
Business Japanese
Goal of training and employment direction:
